Menu at Brown Derby for Fantasmic

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone knows if the Hollywood Brown Derby menu is different if you make an ADR for the Fantasmic package? Do you get a limited selection of appetizers/entrees/desserts or is it the same menu if you just had a regular ADR?

Also, I'm a little concerned that an appetizer, entree and dessert that comes with Fantasmic package might be too much food. Any advice?

The idea of not waiting in line as long with 3 little kids to see Fantasmic is very appealing, but I'm trying to decide if that is worth the extra price we may pay for dinner compared to what we normally might spend at Brown Derby.

(Also I am not interested in eating at the other 2 fantastic restaurants)

Thanks!

When we've done it before, it was the normal menu. I'm not aware of any changes in that regard. It can be a lot of food, we usually have a light mid-morning snack then don't eat until our 3:30 or 4:00 ADR and it works out fine. If you're full after two courses, you may be able to get dessert packaged up to go.

When I was there in July, we were able to choose any appetizer and entree from the menu. We received dessert samplers for dessert, but we were not able to choose which items we wanted in the sampler (as we had been able to the previous year). I'm sorry I don't remember what selections were included in our samplers. We were all adults, so I don't know what happens with the children's menu.

Same menu.

If you have the Fantasmic! package, you have prepaid for Appetizer, Entree, and Dessert.

And you also get access to some of the best seats for Fantasmic!

We've eaten there several times with the F package. Yes, it can be a very filling meal, depending on what you select. We've always been able to select from the regular menu. We generally make this a late lunch. We have a light breakfast, linger over lunch (fortunately, since this is a signature restaurant, they know how to properly pace the meal), and then have a late, light dinner. An early dinner will work if you have a light early lunch.

We went there Feb 2015 with 4 kids and 7 adults. The kids also got 3 courses which they liked! It gave them something to do while they were looking around. Kid friendly choices too, our girls had the grilled cheese and the cousins had pasta. Having the bonus fastpass for Fantasmic! was also nice. We were seated front and center and the kids loved the show. They hadn't gotten antsy because we had been seated so close to the show time.

I don't think our party felt it was too much food. We had eaten a light lunch and our reservation was for 3:30. By the time we got seated (4ish) we were hungry and the portions were reasonable. That said, we were very full afterwards and did not require a later snack.

This was my experience exactly last November as well. Any app and any entree but the dessert samplers were "chef's choice". We had a late lunch/early dinner time so we were quite hungry and the quantity of food (for one adult and one child) didn't seem excessive. Their kid's menu was my son's least favorite of the signature restaurants we ate at with selections that seemed more like regular TS than signature quality but it was fine. My food, OTOH, was stellar...we had taken several years away from HBD because it wasn't great, but I am glad we returned and we plan to eat there again this trip!

The desserts were gnome sized. Thimble desserts don't cut it with me. The beef was good though.
