Hey guys, if we don't let the ladies in here they will think we are talking about them so lets do just that.
From just reading the boards most days it appears we have some very special women on here. Lawyers, Accountants, Medical professionals and business women just to name a few.
I just read Howard's post on the dailey that he does the laundry. So do I, I've been doing the laundry for years also.
I thought I'd share a little about my sweet lady and invite the rest of you to do the same.
My lady and I met in Okinawa, Japan. We were both coming from a resent divorce. I was in the Air Force and she had just got out and gone to work in the NCO club, as a chshier in the game room. I usually went to the club for an early dinner so we would often talk while I played a roll of quarters in the machines.
We were married and since her dream was to be an RN, as soon as we returned to the US she enrolled in nurseing school. She graduated and started living her dream.
You hear a lot of negative about the quality of care in hospitals today and a lot of it is true. But there are medical people who practice with all they have, they go to work ready to give the very best care they are capable of, such passion for your profession is draining both mentally and physicly. So afer 3 12 hour shifts she is pretty whipped. She sleeps a lot to recharge. We have our love of traveling and doing the races so, our weekend off together usually involves our LSD days.
So I gladly do a lot of the little things around the house like laundry and running the vacuuming. Our days together are very special and I feel double blessed by how really good our life together is. She is my hero.
Now if we could just train the women to put the seat back up when they are done!
Anyone else want to share, something about their lady?
Dave
