Memory Manager and Jedi Training

I am debating about purchasing the Memory Manager since we are only going to be at the parks for 2 days. My only concern is, my son may try to get in the Jedi Training. Do they take pictures during that to be put on the memory manager? If they do take pictures, I am guessing they would have a better view than I will watching.

The photographers take non-stop photos during the complete session. Before the session begins, each family receives the Photopass card which links to that session's photos. There are also standard shots of Vader and the cast that are included in the link.

Just did it over the weekend - they took a couple close-up shots during the initial training, 4-5 fighting Vader, a group shot, and one receiving his certificate. They were ok, not any better then what I was able to get on my own. I did like that I could put some Star Wars borders on the photos, but at least half of them said "Star Wars Weekend 2013" .

I wouldn't purchase Memory Maker for $150 just for those photos. You can always purchase a few that you really like for $15/each (or now there is a discount to download 3 for $30)

On ours there weren't any standard shots of the characters included.

Thanks for the info. I am still debating, but I have till August to figure it out! It will probably depend on how many other "extras" I decide to get! :)

I'm super cheap and got photopass instead of memory maker only because half the rides my kids don't want to go on that take pictures to put on memory maker. Anyways even on photopass they will load the jedi training. DD wants to do this when we go at the end of the month, so I am hoping we get there early enough to get her signed up! :)

I thought the old photo pass was gone now and it was only the memory maker (I would prefer to do the cheaper version since we are only there for a couple of days), which has the photos and the ride photos. I am understanding you have to download now instead of getting a CD (which I really liked the CD part of it). I am still digging into this! Too many things to figure out! :)

You can still get the original PhotoPass but it does not include the ride photos. Memory Maker replaced the old PhotoPass+.

One more question on this. I was on-line and found that the PhotoPass CD ($169) was more expensive than the Memory Maker (would buy it ahead of time - $149). Is there somewhere else that the PhotoPass is cheaper? This gets too confusing when they change things one me! :confused3

You can still get photopass and you will still have a cd mailed to you rather than download online. We are only going on maybe 2 rides out of the list and the character meals that we are going to, we will already get the picture with the meal at CRT and Akershus, so I really don't need it on the cd. So for us Memory Maker doesn't make sense.

I called and talked to the lady at Photopass and she did confirm the Jedi Training is included, so I was sold on it.

Okay so I was going to post a link but I can't find it for $119 anymore. I guess I bought it at the right time!
