First, thanks to everyone for all advice you've given me up to this point. So much appreciated!

We are heading to WDW in 16 days (!!!!!) and I purchased MM. I'm a little confused about it though haha. When we go on rides, do I do anything other than scan my MB? For example, if we're on ToT, how does 'it' know who is in my party and which photos to make available on my account?

It'll actually add to your MM automatically. On ToT, the photo is of the entire elevator so it wouldn't really matter who was in your party for the picture. On Buzz for example, the MB reads something in your vehicle to match up the picture. You can always write down the photo number on the screen in case they don't get added in to have them added retroactively, but we've never had an issue.

Oh sorry! One more question! If I'm in 1 car and my kids are in another car, will it take all of our photo's or just mine? I'm going with 14 people and we're all linked through MDE but there are 5 people (me, DH, DD, DS and DS) in my reservation.

As long as you're all linked under "Friends and Family" in MDE, all the pictures will get loaded onto your MM account. It'll add your kids from their car, yours, your family members 3 cars down, etc.

Just make sure everyone is linked to your friends and family list and you'll be fine. You'll get everyone's photos then whether you're on the same ride or not. You can scan your band if you want at each ride (some don't have a scan point for photos), but if you have a band that is about 3 years or newer, all photos will automatically be uploaded to your account via rfid sensors.

You'll also receive (if you ride them) ride videos on ToT and 7dmt
