Memory Maker

Hi, I am trying to figure out whether or not we should buy the Memory maker for our trip. We are not staying on the resorts so we will not have magic bands. there will be 8 of us going, my family of 4, my parents and my sister and her boyfriend. If we get the Memory Maker will we get more than one card so in case we split up we will have the option to put those photos on our account? Or do you only get one card? Any help figuring this out would be awesome! We leave in 13 days and I want to buy in advance if its worth it!

When a photo pass photographer takes a picture, they can scan your magic band, scan your photo pass card, or scan and give you a photo pass card. You can add multiple cards to your account so you'll never have to worry that your pics won't make it to your account.

The nice thing about magic bands is that the rides that take pics(Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, ect.) automatically read the magic band and the pics show up in your account. Without the bands, I believe you have to stop at the photo kiosk at the ride and have the pics put on your account.

We got the Memory Maker for our trip on February and it turned out to not be a good use of money for us (me, DW, and two DDs). I had my DSLR with us at all times and asked the photographer to take photos with my camera as well as their own for the MM. When we got home, I had dozens of photographs on my camera that were just as good as the ones on MM.

There were a few ride photos that I enjoyed, but enough to warrant paying for the MM. Same goes for dining photos.

Unless you are counting on getting tons of "Magic Shots" or character dining photos OR you won't have a camera of your own, I can't recommend the MM.

Hi. Do the MNSSHP photos also go on with the characters added? (like by the H.Mansion).
