Memory maker when liked as family/friends

I have memory maker purchased for my trip next month. I have my mom and stepdad linked up as friends and family. They should still be able to use memory maker, right? WOuld they be able to see everything (photos) on their end, or would their pics just show up on my memory maker account and I don't have to share?

My mom keeps saying she doesn't think it's linked to them so I'm trying to figure out how to respond

They won't be able to use the memory maker in terms of downloading their own photos but as long as they have it set up that you can download and purchase their photos you will be able to see all of theirs and download them.

True, I purchased the Memory Maker for our trip. My brother, SIL, and Nephew were also going at the same time. I linked them and they were able to use the MM even without me. It got them on rides (in different parks than us at the time) and every time they took a picture and scanned their MB. I had also linked my mother, MIL, and grandmother back at home. They didn't go to the parks, but were able to see ALL of our pictures throughout the trip.

Your parents will definitely see your pictures too. We didn't hook up with my brother until our 3rd day there....it was a surprise to the kids that we were meeting up.. so we had to be SUPER careful when pulling up our app bc randomly their Splash Mountain pictures (or some other pics) would show up in the mix! Hahaha hard to keep a secret with picture of cousin on SM!!! My SIL almost threw her phone down the first time she was letting my nephew check out the pics and saw pics of us coming up!

Bottom line it's essentially 1 "cloud" for your account but anyone linked can see/use it.

The only snag was I personally had to download all of my brother's individual pictures for him. No big deal though. Worked out great and we split the cost

If you remember the old photopass+ option from a few years ago, that is gone and now it's free to get photos taken so anyone can use the photographers and ride photos. Memory maker that replaced it is just a all you can eat purchase the photos in your account with a pre-trip discount available.

Since your linked.. any photos they take with photographers or get on rides will also appear in your mde account. You will be able to download all their photos and what you do with them after you get them is up to you. (aka you'll need to get them a copy they will not be downloading hem direct from disney.).
