Hiya Guys and Gals, quite new to the sites here as started to plan my trip for late September.

Very confused about the whole Fastpass + and Memory Maker. Am I right thinking that MM replaces FP+?

Is it the same product with the same items, as ive tried looking on the WDW site and it doesnt really break down what you get now. Anybody used either. Your constructive feedback is needed.

Im really thinking of going with it as if i get before i go for $149, only got to have say 10 pictures taken I like and would print and it seems value for money.

Cheers in advance

I think you mean photopass (PP) not fastpass :)

I don't know a huge amount as haven't been yet but as no-one has answered you yet, I'll give you my (very little) bit of knowledge :lmao:.

From what I gather, MM is the new photo package, PP has been phased out (I think some people going v soon have been given the option to stay with PP if already booked, but you will have to buy MM).

The main difference, I believe is you used to get your photos on a disc to keep, and some prints too. Now, everything is put onto a 'site' somewhere, where you log in and have so long to view and download your photos, after that date, they are wiped.

I think there are some benefits of going over to MM though - if I have read correctly, you have the opportunity to link your ride photos to your MM package, don't think this was an option with PP :confused3.??

Quite a few people aren't too happy with the changes as they liked the CD and prints and felt they were getting better value for money.

Anyway, I hope that helps in some way - big disclaimer to say I might have got it a bit wrong :lmao:, but hoping the jist of it is correct :thumbsup2.

MemoryMaker is all digital
Photopass+ you can have your images shipped (for a cost) on CD. Not really much difference and pretty much the same package -for now anyway. No way of telling if/what changes will be incorporated into the new MemoryMaker, but if you have not yet ordered PP+ then it is irrelevant as only MM is now available. They are honoring PP+ already pre purchased but not allowing new orders.

Hope that helps
