Memory Maker & ride photos

We've decided we want to buy Memory Maker for our trip in January now and I just had a clarification question about the ride photos. I am the only person out of our group of 9 that has a MDE account so everything is managed by me. Everybody else is just a person I added and assigned magic bands to. When we purchase Memory Maker, I'll link it to our account but everybody will be able to scan their bands and add pictures correct? With the ride photos, I noticed this on the Disney site FAQ:

Attraction photos can only be linked to your Disney account if Memory Maker is assigned to you. Your family and friends cannot link attraction photos to their Disney account.

Does that mean I will have to be present at each of the rides in order to add them? I know we will be splitting up and I'm not sure if people will remember to write their picture ID down for me to link them later. Thanks all!

Once you add all your Family and Friends. Everyone on that list will be able to scan their own Magic Band at photo pass locations and the rides that pick up your magic band automatically will pick up everyone's chip no matter who they are with. ToT & 7DMT ride videos and photos will only show up in your MM act. If someone else in your group has a MDE account, they can view their photos in Photo Pass, but not all with show up. They will have to login to your MDE act or the MDE act in which the MM was purchased in order to view all the photos. Does that make sense?

Just wanted to add personal experience here, we traveled with another family who arrived the day before us. All of their photos appeared even though we were still at home.

photopass photos can be shared between people linked as family on MDE.

Memory Maker will let the person who bought it download all photos that have been shared with them.

Edits, viewing, and downloads can only be done in the MDE account where the MM was purchased. Make sure you have all Family & Friends listed for Shared Plans. They need to also check their MDE account to see if they have it set to share with you.

On some of the rides, like Splash MT where you can see your photo on the way out, my daughter would tap her MB on the picture reader. We would then have 2 copies show up in the MM!

I purchased the MM through MDE. I have 4 people under that same MDE. Do I have to "link" each magic band to the MM? Or is it automatically done? How can I make sure all 4 bands will work properly with photopass?
