Memory Maker Question

So, DD16 and I are going to Disney in March. Was not even thinking of getting the Memory Maker but now some friends of ours (Schoolmates and Mom) are going to be there the same time.

So, I thought if we split it then it would not be so bad. They will be staying at a different resort than us and we will meet up but not all the time. Can we still do this without me having to add them to My Disney Experience? Or do they have to be linked to my account in order to do this?

They have never been before so going to get together with them to go over things. But was unsure about this.

Yes. Anyone listed or linked to your account will have their photos linked to your MM account.

Ok. But there is no way to split the Memory Maker without being linked to each other - correct? (Looks like linking each other might not be as bad as I thought - that way we can try and do some fastpasses together too)

There’s no way to “split” the memory maker. Only the person who pays for it can download the photos. You’ll get photos of everyone linked to your account, but they won’t be able to download the photos.

That will work. With the first download, that starts the timeframe for editing and downloading.

You may want to wait until both vacations are completed and then begin the process.
