Memory Maker Question

Good evening! After almost 3 years without a Disney trip, I am finally making it back to WDW! This is my first trip with DH and we will be celebrating our one year anniversary!

DH and I will be staying one week at POP before our families join us at an offsite rental for a second week. Are we able to use Memory Maker for the entire trip? Some of our family members are only doing 1 day at MK and will not have Magic Bands. Can they be linked to our Memory Maker?

I believe you have to be linked to them in my Disney Experience and have the magic bands for them to be linked to your Memory Maker.
