Memory Maker Question

I have 16 days until I arrive at Disney and I just ordered the Memory Maker last night. It said I could pick it up at Will Call (any of the theme park ticket sales locations) or have it sent FedEx. I wasn't sure what they would FedEx as I thought it was just linked to the Magic Bands, so I just chose Will Call.

My questions are...

what exactly am I picking up at the sales location?

if I don't pick it up before an ADR, will I still be able to have those pictures linked to Memory Maker?

Are the ticket locations only at the 4 theme parks?

My main concern is we arrive March 22 late in the afternoon/early evening, and our first day in the parks is March 23. We have a 8:10 Akershus reservation on March 23, so it's before the park opens, then we want to get in the Anna and Elsa line immediately after that. I wanted to have the Memory Maker ready for the first park day. We might have time on March 22 to just go pick it up, but not sure yet.

Thanks for any help you can provide! :)

We arrive the same day. I was contemplating getting the memory maker so I am curious as well.

When I ordered it last night it said they could mail it, but would arrive after March 19, and we leave on the 21st so I didn't want to chance it. It also said you could have it sent FedEx, but it was $15 extra. If I would have thought about it a little more I might have done that, just to avoid the hassle. I thought when I did Photo Pass last time it was just linked to your account and you didn't have to receive something on it. Maybe I am forgetting, since it was 3 years ago.

Same experience. I ordered yesterday, and went the fed Ex route.

Then after I purchased, the computer gave me a code that I could link to the bands. It worked fine, so I have no idea what I am paying $15.00 for.

I'm wishing I would have went that way. Yeah I have no idea what they are sending. I am wondering if the resort can link it up, or if I have to actually get it at the parks?

I called and ordered over the phone. I was told shipping would be free if I ordered over the phone vs ordering online. The CM told me I would have to wait a day or two then I could call IT to link my MM + to my MDE account or I could wait for my card in the mail and enter the code from it. I waited 2 days for my MM+ card in the mail ( I received FED EX tracking info but it was delayed) and decided to call. IT was able to find my order and linked it to my account for me. Next day I received the card in the mail. I was told I could use the card or my MB for MM +. I am bringing the card as back up just in case. Have fun!

Ok thanks! Maybe I will wait until next week and call and see if they can link it to my account. So I guess I am just picking up a card with the code to link it at Will Call? I wonder why they just don't give you that info when you buy it online? :confused3

I don't know anything about the memory maker, but did you see today's post about the E&A meet and great? The people who had Askerhaus ADRs were having someone skip breakfast to get in line and the line was 3.5 hours at park opening. In case you want to consider in your plans!!!! Best of Luck!

I did, thanks for calling that to my attention. My plan is to leave Akershus by 8:45 to get in line. I've heard the line is right across from Akershus. If I am 20-30 families back that is fine, but I'd hate to have to wait 4-5 hours. A few people who have done this have said if you leave by 8:40-8:45 you should be fine, which I hope is true! :)
