Memory maker price drop=product credit?

Did anyone else get this email? Apparently the price of memory maker has dropped, and for those that purchased after 11/13, they are applying a $20 product credit to your account. I would prefer just a straight $20 refund, but I guess I'm happy they are doing anything. Definitely think it is worth it after using it for the first time this trip.

Yeah, I was comfortable with the price I paid, so the credit is a nice gesture. I'll buy a frame or something.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat and got the $20 merchandise credit. Thing is that I don't really have any use for the merchandise credit. I just got memory maker to have access to the photos. Don't need or want to print anything with Disney. I'll probably give them a call and ask for a credit back on my memory maker purchase. I'm not actually using it until late January. I guess I should have just waited until closer to my departure date to buy it.

Yes I got it as well and I thought it was nice. They didn't have to give anything since we had already purchased and could have just said to bad. So I thought it was nice.

An email just came through for us too. We purchased on Nov. 11th and they added a $30 merchandise credit to our account.

I'm not sure I understand. If you're buying it today, wouldn't you already get the lower price. Therefore, you wouldn't get the credit because you would have only paid the $149 price.

I got the email as well. I thought it was a nice gesture. I am sure I can find something for the credit that will work, or not. Since I didn't have an issue with the old price, I really do appreciate the gesture by them.

Oh, I put my deposit down on a package that included the memory maker. My full payment is due on the 16th. So I guess I'm wondering if they'll give me the lower price since I haven't paid it in full.

I got the credit too. So surprised to receive it, and more importantly, that Disney actually lowered a price. Happy overall with this gesture.

We leave for Disney World on Friday and I had no idea the price of Memory Maker went down. Just got our credit email this morning - so this is a nice treat. We'll definitely be taking advantage of this!

I would assume you have to spend at least $20 for it to show up.

There's nothing to ship.

It's a merchandise credit that needs to be used by 12/31/16. I assumed it's for a photo mug or frame. I'd look on the site, but it's erroring out. Is it not for merchandise that would need to be shipped..?

ETA. The email states that it cannot be used towards a future purchase of a MM itself. I can't see how it could be used for anything else, but something physical that requires shipping.
