We went to WDW, for the weekend before Mardi Gras (early February), and are returning the last week of March.

I am purchasing Memory Maker for the week in March, and would like to know if there is any purchasing strategy that would allow for the ride photos from the February trip to be included.

Thanks!!

Look into an annual pass, some comes with memory maker.

The cost of the 2 visits plus the cost of memory maker could make the AP cheaper.

ETA: Only one of you would need the AP. And teh AP comes with so many other bennies.

I'm currently an AP holder, from last year. (Pre-free Memory Maker) And I'm not renewing my AP.

I've never purchased a Memory Maker. But since I'm allowing my teens to bring guests this trip, I'm making the splurge.

Assuming you are getting 2 5-day Base tickets for your 2 trips and the MM twice, your cost would be $944. I used price from UT.

Renewing your Platinum Plus would only be $750. If you have a lesser AP, that is even less.

Even if it is the cheaper way to go? So what if you are only using for 2 trips over 6 weeks.

There's no way for Memory Maker to include pictures taken before it was purchased.

Thank you for your help. But I don't think you understand. I am a present Annual Passholder, but I do not have the Free Memory Maker benefit. My annual pass will expire shortly after I take my trips. I will not be renewing it, for I'm not going back to Disney World for 3-4 years.

hang on, there is some information that isn't accurate here....

1: Purchasing memory maker AFTER the trip is an option and it costs more. Memory Maker is just a flat rate download fee, photopass is the photos. Photos expire after 45 days of the date they were taken and memory maker lasts for 30 days once activated. if you time it right with a pre or post purchase, you should be able to get both trips worth of photos. (you activate it when your ready for it to start, not when your trip starts. Just wait about 40 days, activate and download trip 1's photos, then take trip 2 and download them after that trip). check the calendar as I did the math in my head for when the 30 days of downloading would expire.

2: you can upgrade to the new AP to get the free photo downloads without renewing. I just did this and the cost was the difference prorated to keep the same expiration date. My renewal is about 5 months away and I think it came out to $100 to upgrade. $100 is less than memory maker and you only need to pay for 6 weeks. I would upgrade to the new AP, not renew and enjoy the photos at a discount. just make sure you download them all before your AP expires.

1) THIS is what I was thinking I could possibly do. The first pictures were taken between the 6-8th of February, and I'm going to WDW the last week of March. I figured I could wait until next week, and be in the window of both trips.

2) Now THIS was something I had not thought about. Great "out of the box" thinking.

Thanks for the great info!
