Memory Maker Photos- Lack of Borders and Stickers

While I love my Memory Maker photos (we have over 500 from our trip), I am disappointed in the severe lack of borders and stickers to decorate the photos.

The Memory Maker sales pitch says you can add designs and borders, but there are only 4 or 5 borders and just a few stickers - none of which are very attractive.

If memory serves, under the old PhotoPass service, there were lots of borders and stickers to make the photos really interesting.

Am I missing something? Is there something I am failing to see when I download and edit my photos, or are these really our only options- a few borders and stickers that look like they were designed in the 70's?

That's weird - there were tons of options a year ago...but I know a lot can change in a year. Sometimes the stickers and borders are park or character or event specific - maybe different photos have more options?

I thought of that and tried with about 25 different photos from all four parks. Nothing. There are a few different borders specifically for rides, but they say "Splash Mountain" and "Dinosaur" and such. Wouldn't fit on anything that is not a ride photo.

There is not even anything that says "Epcot" or "Hollywood Studios" or mentions any of the theme parks.

And you're using the drop down menu?

When I did mine last November there was a lot to choose from. There was definitely stickers that said the name of each park. I'll be disappointed if they have done away with them.

Wow. I just went and checked and now there are quite a few. There were not any the last two days. The drop down menu only showed "Most Relevant." No other options. Now there are quite a few. Maybe something up with the site the last couple of days? Now, of course, the site keeps freezing on me.

Yes they give you the "most relevent" which are more limited but then you can pull down lots of others. happy editing!

In the past I have found that the borders would change daily. Over the span of a few days I would see a dozen or more borders come and go, some would disappear only to reappear a few days later, and some would only show up once, never to be seen again.

I found limited choice back from our November trip. The first few days I went on there was not much choice. Several days later there was more choices. I thought maybe they were updating or something the first few days.

That could be. I know I searched and searched - and I've been using dropdown menus for many, many years. There really was practically nothing there for a couple of days.

Thanks for backing up my story. :-)

Glad you are finding more now! That would be disappointing to find so few!

Thank you for asking the question; I was struggling with the same issue today! I thought, "Well, this won't take long," but now that I've found ALL the borders and stickers, I'm going to have "days" of fun with all our photos! :disrocks:

I am having a problem with some borders and stickers showing up for some photos but not others where they would be relevent, even when I choose "all" :(

That's the way the site works. I love MM photos and mostly love the decorations but it's got some major faults. Site glitches are one of them.
They use tags to determine which borders/stickers show up for which photo. Some of their tags make no sense whatsoever.
Like you can't add a date sticker to the ride photos, which is wacky because why wouldn't you want to put the date on the photo, since you tend to ride same rides year after year.
I wish they'd drop the entire tag system and just let you access ALL borders/stickers for ALL photos. Novel idea, huh?
