Memory Maker over Xmas worthwhile or just way too crowded for pics?

Would like to buy in advance if it is worthwhile, but I keep getting images of wall to wall people over Christmas (by that, I mean the weeks before and after, including Christmas day at MK).

For those that have been at this time of year,
1) can you get any decent pics or is the crowd just too heavy?
2) is there always a line up for photographers?

Yes, I'd get MM. Xmas Day in MK is crazy, but beyond that you'll be able to get good photos. Sure, there will be people in the background, but the photos are still terrific. In my experience, they have extra photographers out during the holidays. Sometimes there are long lines, sometimes there are none. Just depends. On Main St in MK, they often have one every 20' or so. So if one is busy, move to the next.

Get it. You will have pictures from the rides. If you do any character meet and greats you will have those pictures. Plus as the PP said there usually are quite a few photographers around. While it will be busy the week before Christmas it won't be so busy that you can't get a photo. There are also neat places to get photos in many of the resorts and you might want to look into that. We do the tree at GF every year.

I highly suggest you get MM...even if you take a handful of pics at the parks, once you get home and start editing and putting on all the special borders, you can easily end up with much more pics than you thought you would...I always take pics at the parks during the holidays...maybe I'll take 30 or so pics...after making all my edits, I easily had over a couple hundred pics...they ship them out on CDs...I'm always surprised by how many pics I get with MM...

We've gone on 12/30 before and, while we didn't get MM, it wasn't too busy to get good photos throughout the park.

We got some great pictures...in front of the tree in MK, in some silly holiday frames (AK and HS). It was well worth it for us and we didn't have to battle crowds or wait long.

We went during Christmas week got 800 pictures no long waits even Christmas Day at Mk got great pictures
