Memory Maker for a Day plus character meals?

Hi,

My family and I (me, DH, and LO1) are going to Disney for a short little trip in November. We are staying offsite and it is more of an Orlando trip than a Disney one. However, we will be spending one full day at the Magic Kingdom as well as doing to character meals - Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare breakfast.

I am wondering if it is worth it to purchase Memory Maker. I would love to capture some of my little one's first visit to Disney. I believe there is a one day option that I could use for the Magic Kingdom day? How many photos do you and your family typically get in one day at the Magic Kingdom?

As for the character breakfasts, how many photos do they normally take there? Would it be worth paying for the whole memory maker? Thanks!

I personally don't think it is worth it for me. If you are only spending one day at the MK, I'm not sure you would get enough good photos. You would have to continually stop and take pictures with the photographers to make it even close to being worthwhile or meet a lot of characters at meet and greets. These photographers will use your camera if you ask them. Further, these photographers aren't professional. Sometimes the pictures come out great, sometimes not so much. We generally do get MM (we have APs now so it is included) on our trips if they are more than 6 days. If less, we don't get it.

As for the character meals while they do take your picture when you eat at Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare, those pictures aren't with a character just a quick pic prior to the meal. The pictures with the characters at those meals have no photo pass photographers taking pictures. Someone will generally use your camera to take photos of everyone during the meal.
