Memory Maker experiences

We are planning a family trip, my wife, 3 sons(30, 32 & 34), daughter-in-law, grandsons (5 & 7) and me. We will have 5 days at the parks and will park hop on some days. I was thinking about the Memory Maker ($162 for the week). How does this work and what kind of experiences have you had?

We love Memory Maker. Get it every trip and can't imagine not having it. We especially love having all the ride photos and when you are with a big group it's handy to get family pictures without anyone being left out.

Absolutely worth it, especially for a big family trip like that.

When you see a photographer with a short or nonexistent line, have some photos taken. You can easily come home with hundreds with very little effort. Plus you get all the ride photos that are taken.

Loved it! Especially great for us because with only 2 of us, we don't get a lot of pictures together unless they are selfies.

We have so many pictures from our last trip and it's fun to find the magic shots.

I always purchase it....and then my family gets tired of me making them stop at every photographer we see..LOL
Seriously, if I'm paying for it, I want as many as I can get. We have some that are not the best quality but, we have so many, I can ignore those.

I think it's a must for a family trip.

For a big family trip like that, I would definitely get it. Stop at every photopass photog you see. It really doesn't take long and you can get tons of pics of the whole family.

We have purchased it for our last two trips and our up coming trip. I like sneaking off with one or both my daughters and getting a bunch of pics of me and them or just them by themselves and then my wife finding later on the app or finding them when we get home.

Last year my oldest wanted to ride buzz while my youngest want to meet Snow White. I took the DD6 to ride and we ran into Stich on our way. Some of the best pics we have ever gotten.

We really like Memory Maker and it would work really well for a big family. Even if you split up you can still have all of your pictures on one account and everyone could view them from there. I like doing the Magic Shots, too. It's fun to see later what the photographer put in the picture. The ride pictures are usually pretty fun, too. We almost make it our goal to search out as many Photo Pass locations as we can.

Memory Maker will certainly work for your family. You will need to connect everyone via MDE Friends And Family. Once that is done, you will see everyone's photos (including on ride photos) and be able to download them.

We have gotten Memory Maker (or it's equivalent) nearly every time we've gone to Disney. Not every picture is perfect, but it is quite easy to get more than enough great photos to be well worth the price of the Memory Maker. Over the years, we have gotten some wonderful photos that way, and plenty of family photos with me in them, which would not have happened without the Memory Maker.

Worth it! We have gotten it twice when it was just hubby and I and this trip we have it and my grown kids and their families are coming and I linked everyone so Ill have their pics as well even on the days we don't do the parks together!

Oh and another bonus is the water parks also have photographers at some of the rides!
