Memory Maker & Annual Pass Question

We had ordered our AP's last Feb but did not activate them till Oct 3. (That is the day we landed in Orlando). I had also purchased a MM for the trip. The next the day the AP system changed and if you bought the level of AP I have you get a MM with it.

We are planning another trip this coming year to get more use out of our AP's, will I automatically get MM or do I have to purchase it separately?
 
Your pass was activated before the changeover, and will remain as-is with no changes for the duration of the pass. If you want photo downloads for your next trip, you have the option to either upgrade your pass or purchase Memory Maker again.

How much to upgrade my pass?
 

I don't have the exact numbers in front of me but I THINK the upgrade from a former Annual to a current Platinum is in the neighborhood of $100.

I am a DVC member, I wonder if there is a different rate? I may have to give them a call tomorrow.

DVC passes are indeed a different price - they're the same as the FL resident prices, if I remember correctly. But, I think the difference between old and new is actually more, even though the overall prices are less. (I hope that makes sense, I'm awake much later than usual.)

That said, calling Disney is likely to get you inaccurate information. I'm more surprised when phone CMs tell someone something that's actually true and correct than I am when they're wrong.

I will call DVC, I bought my passes through them. At least I dont have to pay the full prices for the MM.
