1. I can purchase Memory Maker now for our trip in three weeks and I'll receive a card in the mail that I use in the parks.

2. I can link all of the people on our family trip in MDE, and they can get Photopass cards from the photographers in the parks that I can add to my MM account at the end of the day when we meet back up.

3. From the time we start having pictures made, we have 30 days to download our pictures. Once we download, we can print what we want, just like we did with the old PP CD.

4. One question, though. If members of our group get their pictures taken on rides, how do they have their ride photos linked to my MM if I have the card?

They don't need photopass cards, you only need to "manage" them in MY Disney Experience OR be friends with them and their setting for you to be "allow (name) to view and purchase my photopass photos"

When you have the memory maker entitlement you can download any of your own and your friends photos.

You have 30 days from the first download not the first photo.

The members if your party will need to stop by the photopass counter to have the photos added after each attraction.

I thought they were doing away with the cards and going to everything being on the Magic Band.

But when they get a picture made by a Photopass photographer when we're not together, they'll have to get a Photopass card that I can add to my Memory Maker, right?

Yes, you can get as many cards as you want from the photographers and then you type the number on the back of each card into your Memory Maker account to view the photos.

They need to write down the picture number then you need to go back to the ride within 24 hours to add it.

So I have to go back to the ride with their number to get their ride photos on my Memory Maker?

Since you won't be staying on site, and therefore won't have Magic Bands, yes. If you were staying on site, they could do it themselves by just scanning their Magic Band. Just make sure they're on your Friends and Family list.

So one person says they go to the Photopass counter at the attraction and one person says I'll have to go back there with their photo number.

Anybody know for sure which is right?

I could certainly be wrong about you having to go back with the photo number, but since you won't have Magic Bands, I don't see how else it could be done.

After you get off the ride, you go to the screen to see what your photo number is. You then proceed to the photopass counter where people buy their pictures. You give the CM your photo number and they pull it up. Tell them you are Memory Maker. They will have you scan your band, if you don't have a band they will have you scan any photopass card you have, if you don't have one, they will give you one. It's very simple and very quick.

Thank you.

So if I have linked a friend to my mde and we have both allowed access for pictures, if anyone in my group or anyone in her group has their magicbands scanned for pictures will it all end up together...or would the two of us with managing access have to have our bands specifically scanned? I'm sure I'm overthinking this, just don't want either of us to miss out on pics.

As long as they're on your Friends and Family list, they just need to scan their Magic Band.

2 Quick question. my sister purchased my confirmation of purchase through email and linked the mm to my sisters band ( she is on my friends and family list)
1) do we still need to go to guest services to pick up the card?
2) can all members of the party just scan their bands for mm or do I need to own the band since it is under my account?
