Memory Card For Nikon CoolPix S3000

I bought one last year and I love it. Only lately the memory card tells me that there is an error and needs to be reformated. What kind of memory card do I get for this camera? I am amazon prime, so if someone can link me to the best card, I would appreciate it!

Before spending money on a new card, try re-formating the old one. There really shouldn't be a serious issue with the card after only one year and a simple re-formating should take care of it.

If that doesn't work, simply remove the card from your camera and see what kind of card it takes, most likely an SD card. The buy a card at least as large (in capacity) as the one that came with the camera, go larger if you can afford it. No need to spend money on premium names, get the cheapest they have.

The first time it gave me that error, I wasn't concerned, only it did it in the middle of taking shots in DW that I couldn't get back. I had to reformat the whole thing. Then it happened two more times. I can't take that chance again. So the card manufacturer doesn't matter on this? Thank you so much! I assumed that because I went with a cheapy that was the reason. Thank you!!!
