Do you use one? What kind? Sorry, I need my hand held through EVERYTHING! :grouphug: TIA!

I use the plastic case for dust protection.
My Tamrac Exp backpack has sleeves to hold them. Witha red flap. Flap out card is empty, flpa in card is full.
When I'm shooting I use a Lowepro Mini bag (as seen in jurasic park III) that holds the 2 lenses that are not on the cam. It also has pockets for memory cards.

Nothing other than that.

Do you mean a case to hold the memory cards while they are in their plastic case? I found a business card wallet at Office Max that nicely holds four CF cards in their cases.

I add a piece of a Post-It to the inside bottom of the case, if the card is face up it is empty, face down it is full.

I use a case that hold about 6 cards (depending on what type you have. I have CF). Got it at Walmart. I think the brand is Case Logic. It zippers shut. I don't use the cases that came with the cards while using this case.

glad i'm not the only one, i just was wondering if i could post on here for all my life decisons and not have to think at all :rotfl2:

they did have some little wallets at walmart for $3.. i might get one just to keep everything in one place so i can lose it all at once  but novice to digital that i am guess i need to do something other than look for the film tabs to know what's full or empty..hadn't thought of that whatsoever

is there any benefit as far as card protection to any type of storage?( not to derail, sorry)

The most important things in card storage are; waterproof, dustproof, and non-metallic.

I use a lowepro case similar to the one Charade described, I do use the plastic cases that my cards came in as an extra dust barrier...

I don't mark my cards in any way, I can tell by the card that I took out of my camera, which card is next, and therefore which cards are used or empty...I always use them in a certain order,

2 gig card first, 1gig 80x speed, then 1 gig 40 x speed, for casual, leisurely shooting I will use my 4 gig microdrive.
