Takes me back to my first trip with ds and dh. Ds was 8 months, we lived in Mississippi, and dh had never been. We just decided to go. Didn't really know what we were doing. It was such a great trip. Caught the F&W fest, didn't know a thing about making ADR's, just did our own thing. No stress. It's like now, the more I know, the more I am getting stressed trying to make it a 'great trip.' Sometimes flying by the seat of your pants is better!

I am not much of a parade person, except Spectro, but I really enjoyed ToN and it always gave me such a good feeling.

This is the only parade I ever actually sat and watched at WDW. I loved this one. We were at EPCOT last week and they were playing the soundtrack for ToN and it reminded me of how much I miss this parade. It's also the only soundtrack I have ever purchased from WDW too because I like it so much.

I had a recent run on a thread reminiscing over ToN over on the Theme Parks board. Great to see some pictures. IMO, far and away the best WDW parade.

I did love that parade and the beautiful music. I liked TON better than dreams because it had Cutie in it.

He was the one dressed in gold I think the Sage of time....... Oooo La LA.

My daughter Miranda and I were standing in France one night when it had started. We were both looking at the cutie and said how nice looking he was. Glad we were complimentary as his parents were standing right in back of us. It was a funny moment. I'm sure his dad was very proud as he was the one who informed us it was his son. A nice moment. Another Disney memory.

Beth, the pictures are from both the original Tapestry of Nations as well as the subsequent Tapestry of Dreams. I liked them both immensely, but did like Nations much more.

Mom, I just do various searches on the Net for Disney music, or specific music, then download to my PC and upload to my own website so as to not chew up somebody else's bandwidth. Wav's and Mp3's do use a lot. Glad you enjoy.

Oh, Dan, what wonderful memories!!!! Our DD started her Disney Entertainment career in Tapestry of Nations. As proud parents, we watched that parade many times. To this day, DD LOVES that parade and would perform in it again in a "NY minute." She always rushes to the sign-up sheet when there is a Tapestry 'special' for a convention. Sometimes she's lucky and gets the assignment.

Dan, I remember that we first met outside Germany at Tapestry! Seems like a long time ago, doesn't it?
