Just testing to see if I can post my pictures from Shutterfly instead of Photobucket...let's see if it works!!!

Well...as you can see, it doesn't work! I am so upset (as I'm sure many of you are!) because this would just make my life so much simplier...and would get you guys updates from me MUCH quicker! LOL

I wish it worked so we could all post from Shutterfly & make things simplier. It seems like most of us already have our photos in Shutterfly & have to add them to Photobucket in addition to our other sites.

Ok guys...I'm trying Snapfish now since Shutterfly didn't work! Its sad that I have all of my Disney photos uploaded to pretty much every photo sharing site except for Photobucket! (I think its because they limit the amount you can upload)

So, here I am trying out Snapfish sharing now...

Help, anyone??? I can't get any of these other sites to work!

I know what you mean about spending time at the resort. We normally do spend time at the resort. At least 3 days since we stay 14 days and have 10 day passes. It is usually spent relaxing around the pool, reading, watching movies, doing laundry, etc..

Hi!!! Welcome back from your trip...well its been a little while since you got back...but I haven't told you welcome back yet! So WELCOME BACK!!! I can't wait to hear all about your trip!

I really, really, really need to catch up on my subscriptions! Unfortunately, doesn't look like I will be in the next few days. I took my son to the doctor this morning & he has strep throat, an ear infection, and a fever. They said to expect his fever to last 3-4 more days & prescribed him an antibiotic. He's resting alot though, so maybe while he's watching Elmo in Grouchland or Mickey Mouse Choo-Choo Express I can catch up on DIS!

I will have to get more info from you on Port Orleans Riverside...I am thinking about POR or POFQ for our next trip, but I still haven't decided. My goal is to try at least 5 different resorts before staying at one we've already stayed at on a past trip. (This is sooo hard to do because I fell in love with Animal Kingdom Lodge last year & want to stay there again sooo badly!)

I do love spending time at the resort. I think I might have said this already on my trip report, but while we were at Disney, I felt like we were spending too much time at the resort. But once we got back from Disney, I started feeling like we weren't at the resort enough! So funny how that works! Next trip, I definitely would like to spend (at least) 2 days just swimming or relaxing. Our son LOVED the pool this past trip!

I use SmugMug, which I LOVE!!! But, it's a paid subscription, and not very cheap. We use it as a "back-up" location of all of our photographs.

I've heard of SmugMug before but haven't ever tried it myself. I use Carbonite for my computer backup for all of my pictures, videos, and other documents (but mostly for pictures!!! lol) I use lots of different sites for printing my photos...usually Walgreens has the best deals in their local ads but sometimes I find better deals online. I usually have my photobooks printed online (usually through Shutterfly or Snapfish depending on who has the better deal at the time) and use Walgreens for photo developing. I like it because I can go into the store, sit at the kiosk, and see my photos on "the big screen" they have to edit them before printing. They're also usually done within an hour which is super convenient!

My son is feeling better today! I felt so horrible for him yesterday!

It was so sad watching him yesterday. The look on his face was just horrible! He would wake up & watch DVD's for awhile then go back to sleep. I would say overall, he slept at least 3/4 of the day yesterday. Sick toddlers are very time consuming, you are right! But, since I was just sitting beside him while he slept, I was able to catch up on some of my DIS-ing so it wasn't that bad! I read alot of my subscriptions but didn't comment on any of them because I was so exhausted I didn't want to say something completely stupid! lol

This morning, when he woke up, he asked to go outside & ate some McDonald's french fries that my DH brought home to him...so I guess he's feeling much better!

Our local schools started last Thursday or this Monday. How was your first week back? I hope it was good!

I read more of your TR yesterday but as I said above, I didn't comment on any of my subscriptions. I hope to visit some of them again today! I will definitely ask you any questions I have about POR! Thank you!!!

I guess I will start my questions now...lol...is there anything in particular you think I should definitely know? Like a certain place at POR to eat or not to eat? Did you stay at Riverside or French Quarter? What is the difference (from looking at them in person!) between the two? I think that's my biggest concern right now...they both look gorgeous but in different ways so I am torn! I'll write a list of questions one day this weekend!

I completely understand about changing dates...seems like we do that almost every trip!

Hope your son feels better soon. We stayed at POFQ in 2008 and loved it.

My son is feeling better today! Already today he's gone outside, eaten McDonald's french fries & a slice of pizza, and is playing with his trains & kitty right now!!! I'm very thankful for that!!! He definitely had me worried yesterday when he had such a high fever. Then the doctor scared me even more when she said the fever would last 3-4 days! I'm thankful it is gone today but I still have him resting on & off.

I promise, I promise, I promise...that I will get an update for you guys before Friday! I have been working on it, I just took a break yesterday to catch up on reading my subscriptions!

It was very relaxing to read about all of your completed or upcoming trips yesterday when my son was so sick! Thank you for providing some Disney magic to me yesterday, I needed it!!!

And now, I have some news for you!!! Its not as exciting as planning another Disney trip...

BUT...

I am now a MEMBER OF D23!!!!!!!​

I had some Disney Rewards points & just received my Rewards card w/my points on it a few weeks ago. I was thinking about saving it for a few of the new Vinylmations coming out in the fall/winter...but decided to buy a D23 membership instead! It takes 3-4 weeks to receive your packet & since my birthday is at the beginning of October, its kind of like a little present to myself for my birthday!

Maybe its not such a long wait...it takes 3-4 weeks to get your membership packet in the mail, so maybe you could order it in December to get it for your birthday in January! Just a thought!
