Memorial Day Weekend

My girls are going to be with their father, so I plan on hanging out at our pool, cleaning house (getting ready for DD's b-day party on the 29th with 8 13 year old girls!) and sleeping in. Maybe going out with some adult friends/movie. I am sure the time will fly!

My husband and I will be spending the weekend honoring those who gave all and helping with a great network called Honor Flight Network that flies in groups of WWII veterans from around the country. We will be pushing wheel chairs and being aides to those that need help getting around.

These people are so screwed if they ask me for directions to anywhere though

Packing and getting the house ready. I head out that Monday for a week in San Diego.

My dh and I will be helping my dd's girl scout troop (along with other girl scouts, boy scouts and ROTC) put flags on all the veterans graves at a local cemetery. Then the girls will participate in a memorial service. After that a trip to the VA cemetery to pay our respects to my uncles who are buried there.
