No more Pixie Poop!

Well, this is it...our last full day at WDW. When DH awakes, its obvious that he's getting worse. I have him convinced to spend the morning in bed while DS and I head over to MK. I run out to get a cup of coffee for me, juice for him. By the time I get back he's changed his mind. It's off the MK with the suffering martyr!
At this point, we've tried a number of times for the front car of the monorail...this morning, pay dirt! We climb on in and head over to MK for the opening. We are first in line at our turnstile! We are let in at 9 exactly.
We walk (quickly) to the Liberty rope, and wait for the drop. Finally, they let us thru...unfortunately Splash Mountain is not working. We are able to get fastpasses, however, so we get in line for BTMRR. Our splash time is at 10 so we have a chance to ride POC and the Jungle Cruise as well. Thankfully, Splash is functional (sort-of) soon. We are able to ride at our appointed time (with a number of unscheduled stops), and head over to Tomorrowland.
As you may have noticed, DH and DS are thrill-seekers. We skipped Fantasyland entirely this trip. I was a little disappointed, but since the waits were horrific, it seemed the only place to cut corners. Oh well, next time!
In Tomorrowland we grab fastpasses for SM. We have an hour to kill, so DH plops under an umbrella (looking like hell), and DS and I hit the standby line at Buzz. The wait is listed as a half-hour, unfortunately the ride went down, so we waited closer to 50 minutes. Buzz also went down when we were on the ride in the first room. DS accumulated 999,999 points in the first room (the maximum that the ride can count). For the remainder of the ride, he could shoot but could not tell if he was hitting anything. It sort of diminished the experience although he was proud to have achieved the maximum score. By the time we finish, it's time for SM. We locate DH (really sick at this point) ride SM, and decide to take the train to Frontierland. We have a PS scheduled at the Liberty Tree Tavern for noon, and then will call it a day at the parks.
We finally convinced DH to head over to the Contemporary and find a comfortable chair. We had a tandem parasail scheduled at 2pm. DS and I shopped a bit longer at the parks and went in search of DH. We finally found him asleep in the lounge. One of these days he will learn to listen to me! DH assures me that he still wants to parasail (Thank goodness, because there was no way that I was going in his place), so we walk out to the docks.
There are no other customers at Sammy Duval today. I guarantee you they were all in MK! I get to ride in the boat!
DH and DS harness up. It's a bit windy, so they can only go to 350 feet today. It turns out to be a good thing, because DS (knucklehead that he is) wiggles about in the harness and the seat slides off. He is being held up by...well, let's just say my future as a grandmother is in doubt. Soon everyone is back in the boat, and DH is on his way to bed.
DS and I spend some time at the pool. He was able to work off some energy on the slide, and DH was able to get some sleep.
Tonight is Hoop Di Doo Revue. We have the 7:15 show, table 53. The table is in the area where they sing in the middle of the show. It is also the table where Claire comes and sits on the husband's lap. DS got quite a kick out of it! I wish that I could have given the actress a head's up because the poor thing probably ended up sick as a result. We loved the food, as usual.
Fortunately, this go-round I remembered to bring sweaters for the show...brrr.
It's an early night, and DH needs it! I stop by the front desk to see if I can arrange a late checkout for tomorrow. We don't need to leave for the airport until 5:30, and I'm concerned about DH. I offer to pay for a half-night, but they are kind enough to offer us the room until 3pm at no charge. I am relieved, and finally DH is willing to give in....
Tomorrow we'll find out how that works out!!
