Memorial day weekend availability

As I patiently wait for my DVC resale purchase to close, I'm trying to decide what to do with the 34 banked points I have to use-or-lose by 10/1/2006.

Can anyone give me an indication of DVC availability for 5/27-5/31? I'm open to just about any resort option (WDW or VB), studio room.

With Magical Express, frequent flier miles, and these 34 points, I can take this trip almost for free (unless I pick VB, then it's $ for rental car)! Note that I plan on paying $ for the Sat. night stay (either at the DVC or somewhere else on property).

While I have not stayed at DVC over Memorial Day, I have stayed on-site over Memorial Day weekend. It was a trip that my family would just as soon forget about...crowds...heat...heat...and more crowds. I would venture a guess that availability at DVC will be limited at best and non-existant at worst.

SSR should have availability. They are finishing units every day so it's a great place for last minute availability.
