Memorial Day Weekend at Universal

Next year we are scheduled to return to Port Canaveral on the Saturday of the Memorial Day weekend aboard the Fantasy. What are the Theme Parks like during this weekend ... are there any special events going on ... is it too crowded ... this will be our first time in the US for the weekend ... how was it last month? Its hard to say what the crowds will be like next year but that weekend...like any holiday weekend will be busy. If you are planning to spend two days over that weekend, you should be able to do what you want but one day will be very difficult.

We were there this Memorial Day and it was awful. We were there over Xmas week and Memorial Day weekend was worse! The express line waits were as long as the regular ones. People everywhere. Nightmare. I'll never again go over Memorial Day.

I believe hours where same as summer hours. Resorts were at capacity.

Both parks were open 9-9 this year...not quite as late as summer hours when they close between 10-11PM.
