Memorial Day plans?

What are your plans for Memorial Day weekend?

We're leaving town mid-day Friday and going to our vacation house a couple of hours away. Haven't been in a couple of months, and really looking forward to 3 relaxing nights. We'll maybe get the kayaks out on the water this time.

Haven't planned the weekend meals yet. Definitely hamburgers / veggie burgers one evening.

I'm camping now until a couple days before memorial day. I don't enjoy the crowds on holiday weekends so I'll just hang out at home.

All-inclusive resort in St Lucia. DH will be diving, I'll be snorkeling, or reading on the beach, or cycling, or kayaking...NO COOKING!

Thank you for doing that! We work with a group here too (usually picking the flags up the weekend after so the groundskeepers can mow again.) It's a very worthwhile program, and we've met a lot nice people.

Funny....we will be in Wildwood practically every weekend starting tomorrow through 4th of July including Memorial Day weekend and then a couple more weekends in August and September. Our happy place! Have a great time when you visit.

Going down to Williamsburg, VA. A day at Busch Gardens where their Food & Wine festival is going on. Spend some time in Colonial Williamsburg.

In the hospital from surgery on the 23rd. I should have planned better lol. At least we were able to sneak in a WDW quickie this week.

We are out of town for my daughter’s volleyball team the weekend before and the weekend after. Memorial Day weekend (the weather cooperates) will be about planting my hanging baskets, my containers, cleaning off the deck and the porches and maybe putting the quickset pool up (on its last legs and not sure if we will use it enough to get another one). Our kids are 16-22, but one of our daughters has a boyfriend who loves the pool and I actually think they would use it quite a bit. I might tackle some of those projects this weekend, but we are hosting dinner tomorrow night and it looks rainy so not sure I’ll get much done outside.

Holland cruise line.
air.....booked through them. The times have changed so many times, I will only do it through the cruise line now when going abroad.

We paid about $1300 each
