Memorial Day Crowds

My twin sister's and my 50th birthday is the SUnday of Memorial Day weekend. She has offered to get a suite for the weekend (she's a DVC member). I was wondering how crowded it is? I don't think we'll go but I want to keep my options open. We may go in Aug but we are definitely going in Aug for my husband's 50th and see Halloween.

There are definitely worse times to go to Disney. I've been twice in the last ten years at that time. Crowds are moderate. Not a bad time to go at all.

We were there last May and it wasn't bad at all. We went to AK that Sunday to avoid the crowds. We spent Memroial Day morning at MGM and about 4 hopped to MK because we were going to the first extra magic hour thing that night. We were trying to avoid MK during the day but there was no one there that evening and CMs said it had been that way all day. I was really surprised at how uncrowded it was. A very pleasant day indead.

Went Memorial weekend in 2003 and 2004. We had previously only gone during early Sept or early Dec and were worried that it would be too crowded for us. Wrong! It was fine. We did not encounter problems. Give it a try! See what YOU think.

Woo-hoo! I'm loving you people...thanks! I have been a little worried as Mem. Day weekend is right in the middle of our stay. I went on Mem. Day once just as a day trip when my girls were 1 and 3....it seemed to be a zoo to me. However this time there will be no strollers, diapers, "switching off" on rides, etc. I CAN"T WAIT!!!!
