Memolink - my tirade / rant

At the end of the day I guess it ends up being my fault but I'm still plenty mad.

I had cashed out at Memolink at the beginning of this year around the same time I got an email from them that said "...members who shop through us will be awarded their redemptions first...".

That made me upset because I clicked on valid link supplied by them. I earned my points.

Anyhow, I redeemed and decided that I would not click links (add to their pockets) until I had received my redemption.

So I'm catching up on old piles of paperwork tonight and I remember that I never received the $15.00 Wal-Mart GC that I redeemed for. I log into my account and I have zero points!

I checked the FAQ section and found this "...complete at least one transaction, i.e. either earn additional points or redeem points for a prize, during any continuous 2 month period....". Turns out tha if you don't do this you lose your points and any prizes you redeemed for but not yet received.

That just burns me. First off you tell me that I'll get my prize after the shopping members do and if I don't keep earning points you cancel my redemption. It's like a circle - hey we'll pay you, can't say when for sure, but keep earning points.

First DA, then Blink, then PrimaRewards,now Memolink? Can you even imagine how many hours I sat here at the expense of my family earning points for redemptions that never came?

Honestly, I've lost faith in reward programs now. The only ones I feel confident in are My Points and Click to the Magic.

Thanks for letting me blow off some steam. And in case you wonder if I'm still around - I've been hanging out on the CB a lot lately.

Maybe you'll still get it? have you emailed them or anything?
I just cashed out today FINALLY....and I had planned on not going back there because it's so slow earning, and I refuse to buy thru there because of the slow slow shipping and earning.

for alittle over a year just this last week I got an email that said

if I don't get my prize within the next 2 months to let them know

we'll see it sounds good but............

and at least this time I didn't get their standard prize fullfillment

email still I told them not to send it again that I didn't think that was right that after clicking for so long and then waiting even longer then "if" you buy something from us you'll get your prize faster!!!

I, also have been waiting for my prizes forever. It is over a year now. 16 months to be exact. I haven't been doing this one either. The other day I went to go check my totals and it didn't show my first prize (the one over a year) I emailed them and they said that they still have it on record and that they haven't forgotten. Never said that they would send it to me but I'm still hoping one day to receive it. they now owe me $40.00. It will be a nice windfall, if ever, I receive it. I don't know who would shop through them, I never would.
