Are there any Resale eligible members that have been able to purchase MMB yet? I first called a couple of weeks ago and was told that I am eligible but that there was a glitch in the system. MS told me that a note was made on my account to correct the issue and should be good to go in a few days, but if not to call back in a week. I called back the following week and was told again by MS that I am eligible and that I would receive a phone call when the issue was corrected. Has anyone in my situation received that phone call or been able to purchase MMB?
 
I have not yet read any reports that they have fixed the glitch preventing grandfathered resale owners to purchase.

Hope it’s fixed soon!
 
I'd love to know if/when this glitch gets fixed. We're grandfathered ("Y" members) because we bought so many years ago. However,I haven't tried to buy because if I can't, I'd probably get so upset. Hoping someone else gets to buy first.
 

I guess all I had to do was post a question on here because as of today the glitch has been fixed. i just purchased our MMB with a Disney Gift Card.
Online or did you call? Online mine still has the message saying my account requires attention. I have 2 contracts. 1 qualifies (grandfathered resale), the other does not. If I have to call, I’ll call. Thanks!

I was able to purchase it online.
 
I originally couldn't buy it online, so I called. I called a one day and someone had to call me back. After a few days of no one calling me back, I called again. Once again they said someone would need to call me back. Frankly was quite annoyed at that point. Decided at that point I am done jumping through hoops to give Disney money. If they call me back then then I will sign up. Slow forward 9-10 days later they call me back. I made the purchase over the phone. They said I could have done it online at that point, but didn't want to count on the IT and/or customer service that it would work. Bottom line, I got it but took entirely too long.
 
I called the day they went on sale because my account was blocked from buying and was given the same song and dance.Someone will call me back soon with and update .I called them back 10 days later or so and was told there is a glitch in the system and we're all in the same boat, and someone will call when it's fixed.Well sometime maybe 3 more days later I tried online and and was able to buy ,consequently a couple of days later someone did call to tell me the glitch was fixed.
In my opinion it took a long time to fix, but it can't be used until Jan 12 anyway.

Update: I was wondering why I never got a confirmation email like they said I would. I called today to inquire about it. Apparently, the purchase was never registered in their system. I got charged for it. So, they need to refund the amount. Then I can purchase it again. Technically, I can buy it now but I am not holding my breath on the refund. Once I get it, then I attempt to purchase it.

I hope the final update. The refund came through today. I am pretty sure the transaction went through this time. I received a confirmation email and the Membership Magic Beyond page is showing the purchase.
