How long does it generally take to receive the permanent membership cards? Are the temporary (paper) cards accepted readily at the resorts?

From what I recall, it took about 2 months. I am very sure that the temporary paper ones are fine. Its the membership # that is most important. DVC can always check what they need to as long as you have that number handy and its printed on the temp cards, anyway.
