member site down....?

Consider yourself lucky. Some have access, many don't. I'm still getting password error.

I'm getting password error for my login, but can still get in with my DH's info. I was just in yesterday, so this just started for me today.
 
Hmmmmmm. There are a bunch of us who are getting password errors. It started last night and continued this morning. Can't get on. Going to have to call MS now.

Still having password trouble. Already called MS. CM told me she would let the IT dept know. Did everything she suggested and then some but still can't login. I even reset by having them email me a new password and I can't even login with the password they just gave me. So frustrating!:badpc:
 
I seriously can't believe that they don't have agents working overtime to process reservations for those of us locked out of the website.

An 8pm Member Services closing with probably thousands of us locked out and unable to make reservations is completely unacceptable.

And as per usual, I guess it really depends who ends up answering the phone, but so far I have called Technical Services 3 times and all 3 agents advice that they are "working on it" and there is nothing they can do to restore the username/password on my account. (I am one of those people who has a "handle", not an email for my username.)

So frustrating! I was on the site with no problem at all 2 days ago, but have not been able to get logged on since.
 

I was on the site yesterday with no problems. Went to log in just now and it won't let me. I am positive I put my correct username and password in. I guess I will call in the morning.

did you call dvc tech support number or disney main site support? i have a username as my logon instead of an email and the disney tech people fixed my username/password right away. the dvc line told me that they are working on it. make sure you tell them your username or they will create another account. apparantly their site lets you have many logons under a single email address.

I called the main tech support line because Member Services was closed. 2 of the 3 agents hadn't even heard of the DVC login issues.:rolleyes: In each case, I knew more about the problem from the Dis than the agents seemed to know themselves. I told them all that other people's issues were solved by either merging accounts, or setting up new accounts. In all 3 cases they put me on hold and came back stating that they can't do anything, but they are "working on it".
 
The strange thing, every time someone on here posts they can't get in, I go and test it and I am having no problem at all.

So do we know it is the site, or is it browser/user conflict possibly. :confused3

It's the site. I called them earlier in the day yesterday. Some have access and some don't. They told me they were aware off the problem and working on it. I'm going to call again today and see if I can't get them to link my accounts and see if that fixes it.
 
For those who have asked whether this is a user issue, it is definitely not.

I have tried on 3 computers, 4 browsers and an iPhone with no luck.

They told me last nite it should be up first thing in the morning. Guess what...it's not. Major shocker.

And I tried to book a cash reservation on the main WDW site and it would not allow me to pay for it!! Unbelievable!!!
 
after having tech support fix the problem yesterday, this morning dvcmember.com is now asking for my club id/activation code. they told me they can resend it by email but it will take 3 to 5 days.
 
I wish they would have the technical issues fixed cause I still cant access my account. Everyone's locked out. There's inventory I want to put back into the system and inventory I like to pick up. I'm going crazy :crazy2: calling member services right now and it seems like so is EVERYONE!

:faint: I was just told it would be a day or 2 before the issue with the site would be resolved I hope this is not true. I did get the booking I wanted though let's hope there room inventory is correct.

That is a very good question indeed! I think you need to walk (i.e. have a website and reservation system that works reliably) before you can run (with so-called "next gen" technology and FastPass+).
 
If x% of the DVC base cannot use the system and needs to call to do anything, then they need to shut it down for maintenance. How is it fair for some of us to have to call and wait 15 minutes to speak to someone, while others can pop right online and do it? Not really sure what the problem is, but equality in reservations is definitely not happening right now. Glad I was able to snag the BLT standard studios for my father on Sunday before the site went down. I'd be ticked today if I was looking.

Someone else on another thread or board (i forget where) mentioned the long wait times for calling MS, and that this is what we had before online access so we are just spoiled. I disagree in that before online access everyone had equal access to calling MS. But some have access while others do not. It's getting quite frustrating.
 
I called in today to find that my wait list went through. The wait times are longer than usual, but not ridiculously long.

Hope it comes back soon cause I'm still waiting two more days to book, and its' not that convenient calling everyday, multiple times a day to check availability
