Member services exceptionally busy?

I've been trying to get a hold of MS all day today, and after at least 6-8 calls I got in. Then I was told to expect a wait greater than 15 minutes!

What gives?

Short staffing @ MS? Extra busy do to holiday season? Both maybe?
 
Ohhh this explains so much, I had a 30-45 minutes wait today for MS and I just wanted to be sure our Magical Express reservation was added to our upcoming trip.
 
I'm currently on hold trying to snag a room that's available online and on my waitlist. Hoping they will get to me before the 60 minute hold time online expires. I've never waited this long on the phone!
 

I have an alarm set to call the second they open. Been lucky the past couple days being 1st caller

You may find it easier next time to send them an email by using the contact form on the member website.
