Member Preview of Nemo

This just in (courtesy of All Ears Weekly Newsletter):
"Disney Vacation Club Members will be able to sneak preview the new Nemo's Undersea Adventure at The Seas with Nemo & Friends (the pavilion currently known as The Living Seas) at Epcot from October 13 to 15, 2006."

Lucky me! The kids and I will check in after midnight on the 13th for a 4-day weekend trip. Perfect timing!

Anyone else plan to be there???

How do they work the preview? Are there certain hours or do they follow park hours for the day?

Our last day is 10/13 so we are very excited! We'll definitely be going to EPCOT that day and will post our thoughts when we return home on the 15th.

We're DVC members, but we stayed at POR for the Expedition Everest preview. All you need to do is present your DVC card. We probably had to also produce some form of photo ID.

Thanks! I just read over on the theme park attractions board that these same dates are being used as a preview for AP holders. We've got AP's too, so we can always whip those out!

We are thrilled as we will be arriving on the 14th and I can bet we will be in Epcot on the 15th. The kids 6 and 3 years old are going to love it. Not to mention yours truly.

I checked with member services and they said this is a rumor. Here is the email they sent me:

I am not sure why this rumor is outhere. There is no information printed anywhere that this is happening, not even on the Member Website which is where you would find any information on previous or any special events.

In addition, we contacted Marketing to verify the information and they confirmed that there is no such preview scheduled for Members.

Always check the Member Website for the latest news and information.

Anyone know anything about this??

I don't know if the DVC member preview is bogus or not but I received the passholders email from Disney promoting the preview so we will get to go regardless.

We check in at BWV on the 12th and out on the 15th

Does anyone know when the attraction opens to everyone? We are arriving Oct 19 and my DD 4 loves Nemo. I hope it is open sometime during the 9 days we are there.

I just wanted to reply to the rumor of the nemo preview.

Last week I left my computer on overnight on the DVC member homepage.
In the morning I found information regarding the preview days. I was a bit blurry eyed but I did read the dates os Oct 13-15 which is during our stay.
I was excited about the news, when I went to refresh the page this information disappeared.

I called Member services that morning and they confirmed the posted was accurate, but said they were updating the system and that is why it was not on the website any longer.

I suspect that it will be announced on the website again in a week or two.

Enjoy it for me, I have to go home on the 11th so I'll just miss it. Oh well, something to look foreword to in July!
