Anyone have Kathleen Galcik as a member guide, we received a post card that she is her new guide and would like to send her an email, but she did not include that on the card. Thanks!

Don't have her email but just wanted to say that Kathleen is my (literal) next door neighbor. I believe she just became a guide after being one of the booth staffers for some time.

I believe that guides are somewhat limited in what they can do over email, but I have no doubt that Kathleen will get you some time.

oh wow! She seemed really friendly in the voice mail she left me as well. I just had some general questions and wanted to thank her for taking the time to call and send the post card.. and also wanted to make sure she had our correct address, since the one on the post card she sent was wrong (but its correct on the member site), I am surprised we even got it lol!

Just wanted to add that Disney email addresses follow a standard format; first name. MI. last name @disney.com. So try KathleenSGalcik in that format.

OH, and welcome to the DIS Boards. :welcome:

For others reading DVC Guides are sales people for direct DVC sales. Their job is to sell new contacts and add-ons to existing members. They do not use email as a rule due to the legal aspects of doing so. After the sale, MS is who we deal with for all DVC issues.

Correct. If a CM has a middle initial in their email address it would be: John.A.Doe@Disney.com. Not all CM's have their middle initial included in their email address/name.

Actually the DVC guides use email quite a lot. You are correct that there has to be some care with legal issues, such as not being able to correspond with prospects from unregistered areas/countries.

Some may use it but I have been told by our senior guide and our original guide that using email is frowned upon due to potential legal issues. If a guide puts something in an email it's considered a contractual item by a licensed real estate professional. If I ask our guide if I can book other resorts without issue at 7 months and that write that I can, it could be a legal issue when I find that it isn't true.

When I email our guide I get a basic couple of word answers without specifics which he follows up with a phone call.

Just wondering if the OP was able to make contact.
