Giving this a bump as we are getting close (a little over 6 weeks) until we cruise. If you haven't already done some come on over to the cruise meets thread and introduce yourself.

We were selected in the lottery, booked catagory 5 deck 7
late dinner seating. Second Disney cruise(7 day), first member cruise. Going because of two stops at CC.

HI..hoping some kind person will indulge me with some answers about DVC cruises. We are brand new DVC owners, having bought after our 8th Disney Cruise last month, so we did not, of course, receive notice of this member's cruise. Our guide told us DCL was not a good value use of our points, that cash was better, and that there were no DCL discounts for DVC members. Can someone tell me if there is a special cash price/point rate for the DVC members cruise? Is the ship reserved exclusively for members or will they sell passage to others if the ship doesn't fill? When is the member's cruise, and how far in advance notice did you have to book?

Can't answer all your questions but I just bought DVC in Jan and I called about 2 weeks ago about the member cruise and was put on the waitlist. I just got a call yesterday and a spot for me came open!! The points chart is on the member website under special events.
