Member BBQ

I was just wondering if anyone is back from WDW and attended the member activities at BW and the BBQ at BC. If so what were the activities? Did they have any new DVC logo items or clothing for sale? What did they serve at the BBQ and how much did it cost? :

We went to the Boardwalk for the member day. It started to rain and it was moved to Atlantic Dance. The presented a sneak preview of Pirates movie and Haunted Mansion movie. The gave away a free week vacation with Interval International and also a Pal Mickey drawing. We won the Pal Mickey. They had Summer 2003 Member day pins for sale, member day shirts and hats, They were really nice and were priced like other merchandise. They also gave out free a member lanyard and a pin to trade. It was really nice and I would go again. We met some nice people. I did not go to the barbeque as it was too dificult to do these things at the same time.

We had previously made plans for the evening, but did go by for a while. I was the first person to register, actually, because I was trying to get to our other reservations as soon as we could. We got the lanyards and the pins for trading, and chatted with some folks. They had some coloring, scrapbooking type activities set up, and some booths for presentations about II and adding on points -- can't really remember what else. The shirts I liked A LOT and we bought two. We also bought a couple of pins. They had shot glasses and hats, too, as I recall.

The CM's involved were all extremely nice and they seemed excited about Member Day. I hope many other members get the chance to attend!

Is the memebr BBQ a regular weekly thing now? Or just a one time deal?
