Member Admin didn't return call: Can you confirm/deny VGC answer?

I posted on the VGC UY complaint thread about the possibility of changing my UY on a small 50-pt add-on at VGC.

The answer was that the add-on must have the same UY as your master: March. Bummer. But, I called my guide to confirm and he was honest and said he didn't know and referred me to Member Administration.

After a few attempts that resulted in Hold Hell, I finally left a message and have not yet heard back. VGC papers need to be signed tonight in order to make good on our March UY, if in fact, that's what we're stuck with.

Can anyone confirm/deny this? Our guide sounded a little hopeful that they might've made an exception in VGC's case so I'm trying not to lose all hope.

From what I have read, the only way to get another use year through Disney is to buy a new minimum contract, which I think is 160 points?

Don't worry about being late signing your docs. Disney doesn't want to lose the sale. Call (800) 800-9100, ask for a manager and request a new Guide, the one you have isn't doing their job. Talk to the manager about you questions.

Through DVC it will have to be the same UY AND owners listed for 50 points. The lowest total I've seen an exception for is 100 points but only then when you could buy 100 points as a non owner. Resale it doesn't matter.
