I am going to make a cake for my sons birthday next weekend. He is having a Toy Story party and I am going to make Andy's bedroom the scene. My plan is to cover a cake in fondant for the bed the trouble is I'm not sure how to make the headboard and footboard for the bed. I was thinking of using melted chocolate but not sure how to make my own mold.:confused3
Any ideas from all of you creative dissers???

How about drawing it on paper, putting wax paper over top of the drawing, and piping melted chocolate within the lines of the drawing. Trace the outline first, let it set then fill it in. You can make it the size to fit the cake, and just keep piping chocolate over it to make it as thick as you want to.
