Melissa's Drawing of the team! <--- Check it out

That is absolutely amazing. The detail is stunning.

Are those cans of peanuts from the Virginia Diner? Totally looks like it! Love the Virginia Diner!

Awesome picture, BTW! It really is something you could spend hours looking at and remembering where all the references come from

How fun!

Nice job on the picture. The detail is AMAZING! :)

Amazing Picture. I wish I could see it in person, becasue there are so many details that are a little hard to see on the computer. Great Job!

Great job!!:thumbsup2 The amount of detail is amazing.

I can't believe you don't remember. In chat, a few weeks ago, a Diser said that she was going to run up and hug you on the podcast cruise. And you replied that you would cover yourself in Vaseline and slip out of the hug. It was the chat when everyone was referencing Kevin's Gravy and Nuts. So I drew a reference to what was mentioned in that chat. I have it written on my notes page, but unfortunately not the date that the chat took place. I think it was 3 to 4 weeks ago.

This falls under the 'watch what you say at all times' category :lmao:

Thanks for the explanation.

John

Wow! Very detailed and beautifully done. There are a lot of little hidden gems in this picture. Great job Melissa!

How, oh how, did you create this picture? Is this done on a computer? How is the coloring done? I love your style. Your work is definitely something to be proud of!:thumbsup2

Wow, great picture!!!

Presuming this was done on a computer, photoshop most likely, did you use a graphics tablet, or am I completely stupid if it was done by hand?

Anyways, great picture (again) and I love all the hidden details!

Oh the secrets I must share....:goodvibes First I drew a basic concept of the picture. I scanned it into the computer and then used Photoshop CS2 to draw the picture with my mouse. Yes, I know Photoshop is for photos, but I have used it from the beginning and liked it better than the art version of Photoshop. Some items were actual clipart and that I enhanced and used for the photo. Majority of the items were mouse drawn, but parts of the photo, like the Disney posters and the Dis Unplugged logo were "borrowed".

Thank you for your support and kind words. I truly appreciate it.

Wow, Annette good eye. Yes those are Virginia Diner peanuts. I wanted to put peanut cans in the Peanut Gallery with Will and Walter and Diser Tammy suggested Virginia Diner. So I looked at their website and tried to recreate the can label. Plus it adds something unique from the state of Virginia.

Wow! Love the details. Good job!! :thumbsup2

I love this Picture very cute. I love the harpest in the back :thumbsup2

That is phenominal!!! I wish I had 1/10th of your talent!
I love the bag over John's head; I wonder if he'll be wearing it the whole time on the podcast cruise.:lmao:
Great drawing, Melissa!

Wow, thats some mouse skills! I can barely draw with the mouse, but then again, I can barely draw artistically with a pencil.

Oh, and I know someone else who uses CS2 for non photo images, I personally use Fireworks, but thats what I've gotten used to.
