Hello! My name is Melissa Ren'e or "Mel" for short. I first met my Fiance when I was just 16 and we lived in our small hometown about 2 hours east of WDW.
We, now, live in Columbus, Ohio.. getting ready to move to Orlando, Fl. in just 6 months.. due to a job promotion of FH. {So excited to be "home" and to be so close to the world} So, be prepared for lots of Disney Trips, Details, & Shopping!

Mike proposed to me on December 29th, 2010. We've spent our engagement since then.. just soaking up our engaged status and figuring out the perfect wedding for "US". As a little girl, I had always dreamed of a DFTW, the big ball-gown dress and lots of pink. I just figured it was no way in our actual wedding budget, at all.. On Saturday Night, FH & I went out for some ice cream and randomly were talking about the wedding that still wasn't figured out.. when I told him the wedding I dreamed of as a little girl. This is when FH decided if that was my dream.. it was his "job" to make my dreams come true! We started researching DFTW that very night and was pleased to find out that it was totally in our budget range!!

Needless to say, We are having a Wishes DFTW in 2015!

Hello! FH & I decided on a Black, White & Pink color scheme for our DFTW!
FH thought it was very Disney while I think it's very "Fairy Tale".

Today, I contacted a girl that I know from another wedding planning site
who runs "Shanny Pooh Designs". I talk to her on a regular basis but, she took my ideas and made it come true. Remember: Dreams do come true.

I called DFTW, today, to get information.
I already ordered the DFTW Brochure but, I'm impatient and super excited.

Since I had read the website over and did my research..
I knew that we wanted the "Wishes" DFTW
and, what do you know.. the Consultant said that we would need the "Wishes" DFTW Collection for our amount of guests & what I want.

16 months out, we can start talking to a consultant.
12 months out, we can book our DFTW!!!

I, also, got the information to get all the details for our Engagement Portrait Shoot that will take place inside the park!! So Excited!!

I posted earlier that I had "Shanny Pooh Designs" make us a custom monogram for our DFTW! I wanted something unique to fit our wedding.
The Non-Watermarked Version has the correct date as it is our anniversary that we are getting married on! How many HM's are there?

Hello! FH & I love to search for Hidden Mickeys when we are at Disney so, We are including this into our wedding! Our Wedding Monogram has Hidden Mickeys in it. 5, in fact. I've been searching for other ideas to put our Hidden Mickeys in the wedding as I'm a DIY-loving Bride!

When I first saw this picture, I just loved the idea for a HM on FH. I showed FH the picture and we started searching Ebay..

We found the Silver Mickey Head Cufflinks for $9.99 with Free Shipping on Ebay, lastnight! We scooped them right up! FH, who is the biggest Disney Fanatic in our family, is actually excited about these cufflinks!

All our online purchases are currently being shipped to Florida to my In-Laws house since, we are moving back to Florida in about 6 months. Sadly, I won't get to see these babies for months.

Hello! I'm DIY'ing alot of items to save money to go towards extras since we already know that we want to have Mickey & Minnie "Crash" Our Reception & We want to have an Illuminations Dessert Party after the wedding! There's a whole list of DIY Projects that we already know we will be doing but, I'll save that for another day! We are DIY'ing Bouquets, Bouts & Corsages. My mother makes Silk Bouquets, Bouts, Corsages, ect for Weddings already so, this is a plus for me! I want to have Hidden Mickeys in the Bouts & the Bouquets so, when I was on Ebay lastnight and came across these Swarovski Crystal Mickey Head Earrings.. I just knew I could use them.

I bought 10 Pairs of these Earrings for $4.99 with Free Shipping. So, I have 20 Swarovski Crystal Mickey Heads on the way! The Earring Posts are Polyester so, it shouldn't be too hard to remove the posts.

I plan on using them to add HM to Bouts, Bouquets, Corsages & Our Cake & Knife Serve Set! I should have enough! If not, it's only $4.99 for 20
