Shannon (2O Something) Never Been to WDW "Officially". Only to
MK, which doesn't really count. Way too overhwelmed with information and, in general, way too excited.

Melissa (24) Soon to be in WDWCP and obsessive Disney World Planner. Can't get enough Food in WDW, espeically form Kringla Bakery and Whispering Canyon Cafe'! (Of course, I am the "official" trip report writer!)

Day 3:

Shannon and I woke up early again to get dressed and ready for an exciting day at MGM Studios. We arrived at the Studios earlier than expected. We had about a 40 minute wait before the park "officially" opened. We waited at the turnstyles and were lucky be be in the front of the line. We both wanted to get a picture of the hat before headed to RnR and ToT. The turnstyles opened at 8:45am, which surprised both of us. So, Shannon took some photos of the hat and we headed for the RnR and ToT rope drop.

The drop took place promptly at 9am. We were able to walk right into the RnR pre-show. We rode RnR and fully enjoyed the experience. It helped to wake us up and get our energy pumping. As we exited the ride, we decided to get fastpasses to use later, since we both wanted to ride again.

We then headed to ToT. Shannon and I do not like rides that drop, however, this is one ride we had to do no matter what. It is one on WDW's wonderfully themed rides. We had about a 10 minute wait before we made it inside ToT. Once inside, we walked right into the pre-show room and then into the waiting area. When our turn came to ride, we were in row five and I had got the seatbelt seat. I was not too happy, but was not going to complain. It was early in the morning and I was up for anything. Shannon told me I was a brave soul for not having a bar in front of me. I agreed. We rode and loved it. I would actually ride with the seatbelt anytime.

By this time, our fastpass time had come around for RnR. So, we decided to head over. This time I requested the front seat, since I had never had it before. I believe that roler coasters are meant to be rode in front. I have found that that is where the ride seems to be most exciting, at least in my experience. So, we took off at 60 miles an hour and was it a rush sitting in the front seat. It was an awesome experience, for me at least. Shannon was not so lucky. This would be the last time she'd ride RnR for the rest of the trip. :(

We then headed over to the Great Movie Ride. There was a 7-8 minute wait and while waiting we enjoyed watchin all the old movies flick on the screen. We were lucky to get the front seat in the tram for our first ride. Shannon and I also got the cowboy stick up and really loved the CM who was the cowboy because he was quite funny and really got into the role.

Next we decied to check out the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, which was scheduled to start in just 15 minutes. The theatre was only about 1/2 full when we arrived. We managed to get a front row seat for the show. I was very excited about this, since I had only seen this from afar {in the nose bleed seats ;)}. Once the show started, Shannon was enthralled. She didn't take her eyes away.

Since we were at that end of the park, we decided to hit Star Tours. Shannon and I had only a 10 minute wait on this ride. I am not a big Star Wars fan, but really enjoy this ride...it's kinda cute. We were in the front row again for this one and both found ourselves chuckling through the ride.

For our final ride before our midday swim break, we decided to head to Muppet Vision 3-D. This ride was our longest wait for the morning. We waited about 15 minutes for the show to start. After seeing Honey, I shrunk the Audience, this show didn't quite measure up, but was worth seeing. I know both shows are old, however, Honey, I shrunk the Audience has more special effects.

We were both hot and in need of a break. We were also starving. We headed back to CSR and went to the Pepper Market. Shannon and I had never been inside the Pepper Market before. We didn't realize that you needed to get a card before entering even for take out. So, Shannon went to the Grill and got a burger, while I got a Pizza. I ordered and the woman behind the counter asked for my card. I explained I was getting take out and didn't have one. As I waited for my pizza, she asked 3 more times if I had a card. By the time my pizza was done, Shannon had joined me. The lady took the pizza out of the oven and boxed it up. She proceeded to yell at me because I didn't have a card and explained I needed to get one in a rude way. She was loud enough for other patrons to turn around and look our way. All she had to do was explain this when she first asked me. It was a mistake on my part, but I didn't realize a card was needed for take out as well. So, I went to get a card. Shannon and I ate our lunch in our rooms and went for a swim.

Our PS ressie at the Hollywood and Vine was just after 4pm. So, we headed to the park around 3pm. We got there in enough time to ride the Great Movie Ride, again. This time, we were seated next to a very large man and his family. There were 3 in his party. With Shannon and I there was not enough room on the bench. We had to squish to fit. It was an uncomfortable ride. I don't know what they tried to fit so many , as opposed to giving everyone enough room.

After, the ride, we headed to the Hollywood and Vine. We were seated right away. The food was good and the atmosphere nice. However, we were both still kinda full from lunch, so we didn't eat all that much. We recieved our passes for the FANTASMIC Dinner Package, although we didn't book the dinner as one. So, we took this blessing.

After dinner, we headed over to the One Man's Dream exibit. We decided it would be a nice way to spend an evening before we had to head over to FANTASMIC! We walked through and found ourselves in awe of all the artifacts. It was wonderful to be able to see Walt's desk and office. It's a little insight into his life. We then hung around for the movie that followed and found ourselves a bit weepy. Although I knew much of the info in the movie, I still found myself all choked up. :)

After the presentation, we headed over to FANTASMIC! Although it was around 7:45, the theatre was 3/4 filled. We couldn't believe it! We had our pick of seats and decided to go about half way up to ensure we'd be able to see well. The 1 hour and 15 minutes until showtime went rather fast. The show was wonderfull, as usual. It was Shannon's favorite for the whole trip.

Now to bed...to prepare for a day at BB and and evening at MGM!
