Kim she has already had this role.

In July of 2011 she was promoted to Al Weiss's position while still taking on the president role. Today she lost the president role to Kalogridis but she still keeps her worldwide ops position.

The best part is that George K is now going to be president of WDW. He's apparently done some good things on the west coast, lets hope he can do some good on the east coast.

It seems like there is a corporate shuffle going on...got email a short time ago that the DVC SVP/GM Claire Bilby is leaving to take on Sales and Marketing for DLP, to be replaced by Ken Potrock, who is currently in charge of Disney Sports Enterprises and Downtown Disney in Florida...

Jason Garcia is tweeting about a lot of other changes...like a new head of AK.

Here's a quick list of who's moving around effective February 1:

Meg Crofton currently holds the title of President of operations, U.S. and France as well as President of Walt Disney World. She will now drop her role as President of Walt Disney World.

Current Disneyland President George Kalogridis will come to Florida to take over as President of Walt Disney World.

Michael Colglazier, current Vice President of Disney's Animal Kingdom will move to President of Disneyland.

Tom Wolber, current Senior Vice President of Disney Cruise Line will move to Vice President of Downtown Disney and Disney Sports.

Josh D'Amaro, current Vice President of Adventures by Disney will move to Vice President of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Claire Bilby, current Vice President of Disney Vacation Club, is moving to Vice President of Sales and Marketing Disneyland Paris and Europe.

Ken Potrock, current Vice President of Downtown Disney and Disney Sports, will head Disney Vacation Club and Adventures By Disney.

Thanks for the article, Jeff. Interesting. It seems good that the guy that headed up DL is headed to WDW. Was he in charge during the entire DCA re-do? He did a great job. Also, given my one and only experience with ABD, their guy going to AK doesn't seem bad either.

Hopefully things will be good.

I thought it was interesting that in the details about the new head of WDW they mentioned that he was also at one time the head of HR! Must be a thing with Disney. Maybe he's being brought in to oversee putting cars land in the studios!
