Meeting Tinkerbell?

Another question. Our girls are 3 and 6 and really want to meet Tinkerbell. I have read lots that says the wait for the Princess Fantasy Fair is long, but haven't found info about Pixie Hollow, is the wait really long? If it's really long it is better if you go early morning? I was thinking the day we do our magic morning we could go get in line for that as soon as the rest of the park opens up while dh gets us fast passes for Space Mountain. We will be there the last week of March so we are anticipating pretty big crowds.
Thanks

I went with this same plan in September and I was first on line to meet Tinker Bell. :)

It can be a pretty good wait, I think we waited about 30 minutes (atleast) last June which was the same as Princess fantasy fair but it is nice to get the alone time with the fairies and you will get to see 3 of them. If your girls love Tink then it is well worth it, be sure to take your photo card with you since they have a photographer inside taking shots.

Can someone tell me what characters are typically at Princess Fantasy Fair vs. Pixie Hollow? We have 2 little boys and thus have not been to either. But, they've been watching Snow White, Mary Poppins, and Peter Pan lately, and I think they'd like to see Snow White and Tinkerbell so I'm considering trying to do one or both of these.

Thanks!

You wioll find Snow White in the PFF. YOu will meet Tinker Belle in Pixie Hollow. In the case of the PFF you are not garunteed any princess when you step in the line.

thanks, that's great. One more question;
-When I am the their the park opens at 9am, but it says PFF opens at 10, Will Pixie Hollow open at 9 with the park or 10 with PFF?

pixie hollow will open at park opening, pff opens an hour later. the line for the fairies does get long but I think in the morning you won't find it bad at all. IWe usually head there first and are always 3rd or 4th in line. I think a lot of people who don't go on the boards etc aren't even sure where it is.

And, just to clarify a post above, you will meet only 2 fairies at pixie hollow: tink and one more. The pp photog only does pix with tink. A warning though from someone who has now visited pixie hollow first thing in the morning about 10 times so far --dd 3 loves it!! --twice we have arrived first thing in the morning to find that tink would not be arriving until 9:30. On both those occasions there was only 1 fairy there between 9 and 9:30. The cm at the entrance was very upfront about it both times though so its not like we waited and then were surprised either time.

The atmosphere around Pixie Hollow is pretty nice too, with water and fairy statues. So a wait might not be too bad, depending on your kids' patience levels.

FWIW, there were 3 when we were there. I do'nt know their names, but there was one by herself first, and then a different one with Tink.

My kids enjoyed waiting and looking at all the little fairy houses by the pond. It wasn't boring at all.

Vidia (She wears purple and has unique wings), now makes fairly regular meet and greets accompanying Tink. Terence also usually gets paired with someone else.

The line isn't that bad in the morning. You could always mix it up to try and see different fairies.

Thanks. I'm sure when my daughter gets old enouh to be into fairies I'll learn them all. Right now I just know the names of useless things like Transformers and Pokemon with my boys!

Dd really enjoyed spending time with Fawn and Tink. Fawn took more time with Dd and I think she liked her more even though she wasn't sure who she was. Our hold up with the line was that it was a cool, breezy morning and they had the water feature on. (I call it a dancing fountain that shoots over the line.) No one wanted to stand under it so there was a pretty good gap in the line. Made it seem longer than it really was. But it was worth it an we plan to go again in October.

There were three fairies when we visited Pixie Hollow--Tinkerbell, Silver Mist, and Vidia. The line at Pixie Hollow usually was 60+ minutes (and this was in mid September just before the start of Halloween...not really a busy season!) We didn't bother stopping by until the CM at the start of the line said the wait was only 30 minutes--then we decided it was worth our time to wait. And it was. :)
