We really want to meet talking Mickey on our first day at MK!
How do you work it into your plans? It seems so out of the way -- we'll be spending most of the day in Fantasyland.

What's the chances of 7 people getting a 4th FP for meeting Mickey?

Touring Plans says to do it at the same time the afternoon parade is going on. The wait should be 10 minutes or so according to them so you wouldn't need a fast pass. I don't have any other tips for that, sorry.

When are you going?

I got one for late afternoon in May for a party of 5 but it took splitting the party up and quite a while of refreshing. I think it can be harder than rides because of lower capacity.

It is hard to work in because of the location. We had tried to go at RD but there was a 45 min line. Doing it during the parade might work.

I would think slim chances as a 4th FP. We did it on our way out on a Christmas party day, but we had a FP. Really glad I booked it at 60 days, because they were gone.

It’s worth going out of your way for and it’s worth a prebooked FP.

The only way for me to get it as a FP then on my first day is to exchange Enchanted Tales with Belle out for it.... and we want to do both, for sure.

It's a popular attraction and I find FP are often unavailable several days ahead.

We have definitely had good luck going there during the parade! I would recommend it
for sure. For a 3pm parade that starts at frontier land - I think I would aim to be in line for Mickey around 2:30/2:45 or so - you can probably get done before the parade even arrives at town square! We have also had good luck going in just as the parade enters time square..

Thanks for the advice. We will try that.
