One of my favorite things about going to WDW is meeting people from all over the world. Even if you don't actually get to talk to them, I love hearing all the different accents as I walk around the park. What are your favorite stories of meeting new people at WDW? Some of mine:

Last year we waited for Spectro with a family from Holland. The kids spoke a bit of English and were teaching my DS5 how to count in Dutch. During the parade the girl who was about 10 leaned over to me and said in this hushed, awed voice, "it's so beautiful."

We just returned from a trip where we waited for Fantasmic with a family from Nova Scotia. They were very patient with my ignorance about their area (I asked them if they spoke French which I guess was kind of dumb) and we had a great time chatting and learning a bit about each other.

Your turn!

It's wonderful hearing all those accents! we've spoken to SO many people from different countries...we waited in line for Pirates with a group of English people and they had me rolling on the ground laughing! I've spoken to German people, Italians, French and on and on. Sort of makes you feel like you're visiting those countries doesn't it? I was born in Germany but haven't heard much German spoken since I left home at 18.

This past Sept we were waiting to see Spectro too and met a very nice family from England their son's name was Harry. I really enjoyed talking to them and wished I had asked for their email address.

Yeah, I got a picture of the Holland family with my son but I didn't take one of the Nova Scotia folks and wish I did.
