Head on over to the cruise meets board and find the thread for your sailing (or make one if there isn't one). Meeting other DIS'ers before you head out is a wonderful experience. On the 10 day cruise we found so many friends we hadn't met yet. We were quite the site in the terminal with everyone greeting each other. We then had a couple of meets on board that we set up. We even linked dinner reservations and had 6 tables of DIS'ers for early seating and I think just as many for late seating.

I highly recommend getting to know your fellow cruisers.

I agree 100% with what Mary wrote. We linked our ressies with other DIS'ers that we knew were on the same sailing as us and we have made lifelong friendships because of this. It was also fun running into other DIS'ers at the Radisson, the night before the cruise, in the terminal, while waiting to board the ship, and we kept running into fellow DIS'ers on the ship. Like Mary said, check out the cruise meets forum and see if a thread for your sailing has already been started, if so, join in, if not, start a thread.

Andy thanks we found one listing for the 06-17-06 western cruise

DH and I were on the 9/18/05 Magic. After boarding, I wanted to make sure we were seated with people who were not part of a family gathering. I found out that we were seated with 3 other couples, none of them part of a large group. On our very first Magic cruise, we were seated with a family who was part of a large reunion. We felt that we were intruding on their precious time together.

I board the Wonder this June 16 and need to find a way to get 3 of us in early seating. We are still waitlisted as of Friday.
