Meeting Mickey at Rope Drop MK??

My kids have wanted to meet the (possibly) talking Mickey at MK for our last few trips, and we've never made time for it. I was going to have us go right to Mickey after rope drop. Then I remembered that we are now let onto Main Street early. Do people start lining up for that instead of roaming Main Street? I'm thinking I may have to get a FP for it unless there's a time of day that has a lull in wait times for it, but I doubt it.

1. Yes. A good number do. (You COULD be among those who arrive early and wait.)
2. That's an option.
3. There generally ARE times of day that find fewer guests in line.

Mickey is also great to meet at the very end of the day, during/after the fireworks! I like to meet him and Tink last thing in the evening because they rarely have people waiting to meet them then.

I think most People are waiting for 7DMT or PP first thing and not the talking Micky will there be a line yes but I do not see it being 10 to 15 minutes long as long as you get there a little early ( I am thinking 10-15 minutes before park opens)

you can also check MDE and see the wait times for a few day look when park opens and a few minutes after and then maybe during the parade and right when the park closes. This will give you an idea if you what to FP it or not.

We always went RIGHT after parade or fireworks. (especially during parties) and had little to no wait at all and didn't lose ride time. Good luck!
