i know it's in that monster thread somewhere .... But we're headed over to DHS now.
Does anyone have current info on the M&G?
We have Disney visa.
Should we go there first, or RnRC? If we go there first, which line is better to do first and how much time would you guess to get them both done?

I was there a few weeks ago (last Wednesday in January), but it wasn't the best test because it had rained hard from about midnight until 8 AM and was still pretty gloomy when we entered the park at 8:45. The crowd was about as low as you are ever going to see it. We went to the Launch Bay first and Chewey hadn't even started meeting yet, and there were a couple of groups ahead of us. Then we went to see Darth Vader (who was still there) and waited about 10 minutes.

Keep in mind that the Disney Visa line doesn't start right away (at least it didn't when we were there). I think it started at 10:30 or 11. We came back again later in the day to take advantage of that.

The day we were there was so uncrowded that, even after doing the character meetings and looking around at some of the Star Wars displays, we were able to walk on at both RNRC and TOT. You won't be able to do that on a typical day. We spent about 30 minutes in the Launch Bay on that first visit, but it will probably take longer on a more normal day.

After doing it once, I would suggest doing RNRC first and then going to the Launch Bay. That's what we will probably do when I accompany my older daughters on their spring break trip. You're going to have to wait for something, but if you go right to RNRC you can probably get on and off there faster and get to the Launch Bay before it gets too crowded.

Disney visa line doesnt start until 11. You can probably get both meet and greets done before that. (we did and we got there by 9:30) Remember to bring something to trade with the jawas (sp?) when you are in launch bay. My daughter gave them some old pirate coins and they gave her a droid. We had fast pass for RNRC but I would definitely go there first and then back to Launch Bay. We have been twice and the lines have always been 20-50 minutes but gone faster.

M&G line is to the right. Film line is to the left. You choose which character. Visa line is 11am to 4pm. So going before 11, you'll have to do Kylo Ren in standby, or wait till 11 for the Visa M&G.

Ok - new questions!! I was under the impression that one of the characters was visa ... So what's the difference between the visa M&G and the regular? And the trading - isthat for the visa meet - or everyone?

Visa is only Kylo Ren

Trading is with jawa.

Do people still recommend RnRC forst if we are ok with single rider?

Honestly, the day we went to the meet and greet we had gotten there early and saw Chewy and Darth Vader. My older daughter wanted to go into the Visa meet and greet as well because she heard he was more talkative and interactive. That particular day, he definitely was. Was talking to both my daughters and "made" me get in a picture. When Darth Vader tells you to get in the picture, you get in the picture. If I was only going to do one, do the Visa one. We went back last weekend in the evening so the Visa meet was over and we saw Kylo Ren. The experience was exactly like the Darth Vader one. It was good but the Visa was better if that makes sense.

The jawas randomly come out back by the Cantina looking area. Maybe once and hour.

Ugh - we didn't bring anything to trade. Do you think they'll take quarters or bandaids?

They can't take money. Try the bandaids. They will just shake their head if they do not like it. We didn't have anything the first time we went and we were going to try hand sanitizer. The next time we brought the pirate coins and they really liked those. A key chain perhaps? I saw someone give them that.

Update - we went straight to chewy - third in line. Looks like we'll be able to do both pretty quickly and then do single rider for RnRC, but I'll follow up with the real time for future visitors.

Did they allow you to skip the film? There's been some reports that the film wasn't optional first thing in the morning.

We wandered into Launch Bay at around 2pm a few weeks back (after Jefi Training). Line for DV was 10 minutes. Line for Chewy was maybe 15. We met both in the time it took my parents to GET ON the GMR. Then we had another 20 minutes to kill while they rode.

I was shocked the lines were so short. Yes, it was a gloomy day but TSMM still had a crazy long line so folks were in the park, just not in the Launch Bay. I guess my point is you don't need to prioritize the meets just yet. That might change once more SW stuff opens but for now my experience is that you can just fit them in whenever.

Ok - done with Kylo Ren by 9:12. The Jawa didn't want the pirate tutorial scroll, but he traded a piece of a droid for a bandaid....
The girls are looking around launch bay, will see how long SR. is for RnRC soon

It's 9:25 now... Standby for RnRC is 30, we're getting on the single rider line
ETA - there are 7 people on at line in front of us.
So, I will recommend doing what we did! It's 9:28 now, I expect to be done with launch bay and RnRC before 10 am.
